Spectacular San Antonio experimentalist Claire Rousay is touring behind the excellent ‘sentiment’, her newest album through the ever-insightful Thrill Jockey records.
The record is a hazy collection of ambient electronic collage, dreamy synth textures, melancholy AutoTune and granular melodies seamed though with threads of jagged guitar, with the field recordings of everyday life; voicemails, haptics, stop watches and whispers baying and weaving in and out of the mix.
As always, Dublin promoters Foggy Notions can be relied upon to bring you staggeringly essential music, delivered in beautiful confines, collaborating with the Project Arts Theatre for an intimate performance that promises to be nothing short of spellbinding.
