Celebrating the release of his third solo album The River Holds Its Breath : Tost ar an Abhainn, The Frames and Kila co-founder and fiddler Mac Con Iomaire collaborates with composer Bill Whelan on the creation of what he calls “a collection of short stories”. There’s uplift and joy to be gleaned in each composition, a weather-beaten beauty comforted in the knowledge that the sun will shine again.
