As darkness descends and time steals the light from day, it is fitting that the Bram Stoker festival returns with its considered fang fare. Highlights include: the world premiere of Whitby by dance artist Colin Dunne which reimagines Stoker’s gothic masterpiece; a screening of Vampyr in St Patrick’s Cathedral with a live score; and Turning Vampire Mixtape with Lisa Hannigan and Saint Sister among the confirmed guests. The Macnas Parade (pictured below) is always a memorable experience.
