First The Strypes, then Lisa O’Neill and now Cahill means Cavan’s got cool. Cast more as a LA chanteuse in the mould of Adele and Lana Del Ray, she sings more of making it in Hollywood than toiling away in The Lakelands. Cahill’s husky vocals exude a shimmering and smoky glamour. She’s notched up appearances at Glastonbury (2016) and Eurosonic in January, signed to Warners and had her Blood Diamonds track produced by Courage.
