Joel Seawright, the Creative Director, Rotten Magazine which we featured in Magnified in 2020 got in touch about his punk-inspired, photography magazine to say the long-awaited third issue is out now.
‘The Rat’ spans over 140 pages of handmade collages, writing and photography. Featuring work from various artists, including JH Engstrom, Olivier Pin-Fat, Begum Yetis, Sasha Kurmaz, Theo Elias and more.
“I wanted to create something that was a homage to the Irish and Japanese photobooks that I love. It only felt natural to make some kind of hybrid between the two, combining it with a usual magazine format which allowed us to make a magazine that feels personal,” said Seawright on its origins.
