After a successful run in Norway, Irish artist Rudi Lee McCarthy is making their Arctic-inspired cookbook SALT available for free.
Originally created during a residency in collaboration with Kvitbrakka and Havnemuseum, the book captures the culinary traditions of Arctic life through recipes collected from local fishermen, chefs, and butchers.
Previously sold in Norway, SALT was part of McCarthy’s larger exhibition exploring food heritage. Now, with full distribution rights, they’re offering it as a free download—based on the belief that knowledge should be shared.
