We adored Emma Roche’s ‘Only Learning’, a playful knitted acrylic paint piece of a child riding a bicycle, which she contributed to the recent Pallas Projects fundraiser.
And it comes as no surprise to learn another of her works, ‘Hurl’, has been shortlisted for the prestigious John Moores Painting Prize 2023.
Previous winners include David Hockney (1967), Peter Doig (1993) and Kathryn Maple (2021).
