We’re absolutely buzzing for this week’s Dublin Bowie Festival, which this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of the release of The Man Who Sold The World with a superb and innovative programme inspired by the late great Mr. David Bowie. Take a gander at five of our festival picks here.

As proud Partners of the Festival we are delighted to offer readers the opportunity to win tickets to a number of unique events, including Glasshouse: The Berlin Trilogy Re-Imagined

In one of the most anticipated events in this year’s programme,  the brilliant Glasshouse Ensemble is set to interpret the iconic iconic Berlin Trilogy in their own inimitable style in The Sugar Club this Thursday January 9th.

The Berlin Trilogy consists of three consecutively released studio albums: Low (1977), Heroes (1977) and Lodger (1979) which were recorded after Bowie took up residence in West Berlin in late 1976.  He’d moved there on the verge of physical and mental collapse owing to cocaine addiction in L.A. It was in Berlin’s Hansa Sound Studio that he recorded Heroes, one of his most loved singles.

To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets, simply make sure you’re signed up for our Newsletter, and tell us the answer to the following question:
