Ranelagh Arts Festival blows out 21 candles this May with ten days of music, film, theatre, chats, comedy and community spirit running all the way through to Sunday May 17th.

The much-loved neighbourhood festival returns with another eclectic line-up mixing local creatives with international guests, and best of all, most events are free.

In addition to enjoying the festival exhibition Stay Curious at Ranelagh Arts, while throughout the week, No.6 Ranelagh hosts screenings of Maeve Brennan and Visions and Builders, while Humphreys provides the setting for a pub quiz, open mic night and trad session.

Community Day on Saturday May 16th promises peak village vibes with storytelling, live music, street performers, tote bag screen-printing workshops and the gloriously chaotic return of the Best Dressed Dog competition. There’ll also be new play readings with a wine tasting at Ranelagh Arts Gallery to look forward to.

The festival wraps on Sunday with a sustainability-themed finale featuring a group cycle with musicians Nick Kelly and Sean Miller before a screening and live performance of The Song Cycle at Ashtons.
