Dublin’s vintage and sustainable fashion scene is about to get a major boost as ClothesCycle, the UK’s largest thrift market, makes its long-awaited Irish debut this May.
Landing in Hall 4 of the RDS on Sunday, May 3rd, this one-day pop-up promises to be far more than your average market. Known for its high-energy atmosphere and carefully curated sellers, ClothesCycle is bringing over 100 traders together under one roof for what’s set to be one of the biggest thrifting events the city has seen.
Spanning more than 25,000 square feet, the market offers an extensive mix of styles and price points. From vintage and retro pieces to streetwear, Y2K, luxury labels and handmade items, there’s something for every taste. Shoppers can pick up bargain finds for as little as €2 or invest in rare archive pieces worth over €100 — making it as accessible as it is exciting.
Expect rails packed with menswear, womenswear, gender-neutral fashion and plus-size options, alongside accessories, jewellery, shoes, prints, ceramics and more. Many of the sellers typically operate online, meaning visitors will get exclusive first access to stock that can’t be found anywhere else — often at discounted prices.
But ClothesCycle is designed to be a full day out, not just a shopping trip. Alongside the thrifting experience, there’ll be DJs spinning music throughout the day, food trucks (including vegan options), coffee, and sweet treats to keep you fuelled between browsing sessions.

There’s also a packed lineup of activities, including nail art, tarot readings, a tooth gem artist, hand-poke tattoos, giveaways, and even a free clothing alterations station. For those looking to refresh their wardrobe sustainably, the on-site clothes swap offers a chance to trade in up to five pre-loved items for tokens to spend on something new-to-you.
If you time it right, you might even bag a freebie — the first 150 attendees will receive a complimentary tote bag, and any leftover items in the swap section will be given away for free after 4 pm.
Due to high demand, early booking is strongly advised, as tickets will not be available at the door before 2 pm. Children under 12 and carers can attend for free.
