Set amongst the Valley at Wicklow’s Glendalough, Beyond The Pale returns with three days and nights shaped by outstanding music, art, culture, food, and wellness – a boutique festival woven through beautiful forests, fresh lakes, and open skies. Located only 30 minutes from Dublin, it’s the weekend where global music headliners perform under the canopy of Glendalough’s ancient trees, and sit alongside late‑night stages, unmissable cabaret and comedy, chef pop‑ups, cocktail bars, saunas, cold‑water dips, yoga sessions, and even guided woodland foraging

This week, Beyond The Pale unveils a new wave of music acts for its “fifth volume” this June, adding twelve music acts to an already impressive line‑up. Leading the announcement is newly revealed headliner Primal Scream, one of the most influential Scottish rock bands of the past four decades, performing their only Irish show of summer 2026. They’re joined by Ballymun’s Bricknasty, the Dublin collective who have rapidly become one of the most talked about live acts in Ireland.

The new additions also include the long‑awaited first ever live Irish show from acclaimed Canadian electronic producer Marie Davidson; an immersive 3D/AV live performance from Belfast‑born Max Cooper; and Horace Andy & the Dub Asante Band feat. Matic Horns, marking the Jamaican reggae icon’s first Irish performance in almost two decades. Beyond The Pale also welcomes Brazilian electronic producer and DJ Gui Boratto, returning for his first Irish show in eight years and his debut Irish festival appearance. Melodic DJs will host the Cirrus Garden on Saturday night, with the full stage takeover to be revealed in the coming months.

Also joining the bill is Irvine Welsh, the Scottish Trainspotting author who will perform at the festival. Welsh recently stepped into a new territory with his disco‑influenced debut album Men In Love. Created with The Sci‑Fi Soul Orchestra and released last year, the album blends Motown, disco, and electronic dance music as the soundtrack to his sequel novel to Trainspotting.

More music will be unveiled in the coming months, alongside updates on the festival’s stages, including the iconic Main Stage, Selective Memory, Cirrus Garden, and the late‑night areas that have helped define Beyond The Pale as a festival created for true music lovers.

With less than five months to go, the much-anticipated summer festival is gearing up to unveil even more programming across music, arts, culture, food, and wellness. Over the coming weeks, Beyond The Pale will reveal its arts and cultural programme, described by organisers as “the beating heart of the festival”. This year’s arts callout attracted nearly 500 applications from across Ireland and abroad, spanning theatre, visual art, spoken word, circus, cabaret, comedy, and more.

Food and drink step into the spotlight once again, with Beyond The Plate talks and tastings, chef‑driven restaurants and pop‑up dining experiences, and bars serving everything from craft cocktails to wines and local brews. Meanwhile, the Acushla Wellness Field widens its offering with saunas, cold‑water dips, massage, and morning yoga. More to be revealed.
