The Richmond Barracks Harvest Fair makes a welcome return to Dublin 8 this weekend, with a great range of free activities taking place over both days.
Visitors can look forward to trying their hand at crafting and upcycling as part of a number of free creative workshops, as well as taking part in a variety of outdoor activities including dance workshops and a Teddy Bear’s picnic in the garden.
There’s also a chance to check out the wares on offer at a terrific range of special Harvest Stalls hosted by a variety of local producers, makers and creators, with opportunities to pick up some great sustainable goods and one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts, all while supporting small businesses, artists and enterprises.
With some delicious treats including a nice selection of food and drink on offer, weekend visitors are encouraged to bring along their own picnic blanket and enjoy delicious food and drinks from the food vendors.
The doors of the newly expanded Inchicore Library at Richmond Barracks will also be open with the facility ready to explore, while a number of Historical Walking Tours will also run across both days of the Harvest Fair.
The Fair takes place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September from 11 am to 5 pm. Admission is free.
