James J. Fox and J.J. Corry have teamed up for a seriously exclusive drop: the 21-Year-Old Bonder’s Edition Single Malt Irish Whiskey. There are only 180 bottles of this golden elixir available.
Aged for 20 years in ex-bourbon casks, and then given a glamorous finish in Fino sherry casks from Spain, this bad boy comes in at a robust 53% ABV.
Expect a nose of baked apple strudel, vanilla custard, and a touch of orange blossom. On the palate, you’ll get orchard fruits, apricots, and a bit of fresh pastry with warm spices.
The finish is long and satisfying, with toasted almonds and a hint of Negroni dryness. It’s hitting shelves (and online) at James J. Fox, 119 Grafton Street for a cool €295.
