Finally some good news. Smurfit Westrock has partnered with Dublin Theatre Festival supporting their 10FOR10 initiative, making tickets €10 for under 30s, unwaged individuals and freelance artists and arts workers.
It ensures that world-class theatre remains accessible for those who might have otherwise been unable to attend.
This year’s festival includes a programme of world premieres, international trailblazers and major Irish productions.
10FOR10 widens access for new audiences, emerging artists, and theatre makers to experience international productions that may not return to Ireland, along with new Irish works.
Ruth Negga, Florentina Holzinger, Carolina Bianchi and Rébecca Chaillon are among the artists announced for this year’s edition, in a fascinating and vibrant programme that brings together internationally acclaimed theatre-makers, major Irish productions and a remarkable generation of new voices.
