Chairlift work under such a convincing 80’s sheen they could be dropped seamlessly into a Club Nassau 80’s night slowset without anybody batting an eyelid. Thankfully, they don’t try and work the neon legwarmers look, but a health spa in ancient Rome style in their video for Planet Health. Possibly the most convincingly 80s part of the song though: They stole their chorus from the Bravery. Now that’s what I call synthpop.
