Life is short. So is this album. So are leprechauns. Bobby Aherne talks to and about a leprechauns. By day that is. By night he makes trashy, garage pop. Lots of it. This is his fourteenth release. Why not? Life is short. Too short for verses; choruses will do. Too short for lyrics; can we hear a “woah ho”? This is a raw, tinny, dirty, punky record. This is Dublin. Who needs more scuzzy guitar pop? You do. It’s all too short.
