On A2, High Hopes explores more of the proto-trance sound that LOTR has become known for, masterfully weaving wistful cosmic-adelic synth lines over a dancefloor-friendly rhythm, while B-side Back and Forth presents a brooding homage to golden era italo-disco for modern dancefloors.
