The evergreen Waltons World Masters Series this month brings storied Saharans Tinariwen to the National Concert Hall. You might have caught them before (having racked up Rolling Stones support at Slane and a Malian special in Temple Bar), but the Concert Hall promises a unique performance from one of the planet’s most singular troupes – the current strife in Mali will likely underpin the show, which will make the evening a whole lot more intellectually fulfilling than a Minutes gig, right?
Want to Tinari-win a pair of tickets? Mail us with your name, address, and favourite Tinariwen video to editor@totallydublin.ie by Monday 9th, and we’ll pick a winner from the T.D. comps hat.
