From September 8-16, the statues of Dublin’s cityscape will encounter a curious change.
Joining forces with this year’s Fringe Festival, Margaret O’Connor has crafted haute-couture headgear for these iconic sculptures, each perfectly customised to their personalities.
With Oscar Wilde boasting a rainbow-hued top hat and Constance Markievicz wearing a pink-and-white headpiece subtly patterned with guns, this marriage of street art and millinery will be the talk of the town.
