Ciarna Pham, the kaleidoscopic brain behind the brilliant Kiki Na Art range of unique handcrafted jewellery got in touch to tell us about her black and white shoot based around how, “things are very divisive these days and people are very black and white in their views and that the individuality of humans is the colour in life.

“The art direction and concept is mine but I called on my friends (in the shoot) to help. Peter Willis (the guy with the colourful moustache) did most of the styling though people also self styled as we went along. It was all shot in my sister’s house who is the woman with the curly shoulder length hair.

The models included are Duc Pham (my husband), Amano Miura, Peter Willis, Sorcha Hackett (my sister) and Jagadish Patappu Jayakumar. All of us live in Dublin. My sister and I are from Dublin. Amamno is from Kerry, Peter is from Belfast, Duc is from Vietnam and Jagadish is from India. It all happened very organically based on what friends were available. Featured fashion wise are my jewellery Kiki Na Art, Clothing mainly second hand and then hand painted by myself and my sister. Some clothing is from Lucy’s Lounge and two of the hats are from Margaret O’Connor.”
