The bus may have stopped, but the memories live on. With recent news that the 46A has reached the end of the line, RetróEire have immortalised the iconic bus route in a classic Art Print that aims to preserve its memory.
As a tribute from every passenger who ever stuck out their hand to board the old grandee, RetróEire designer and founder Kate Swift suggests that its final destination could now be in your home.
The latest creation from the small design studio, which specialises in preserving Irish memories, framed in a contemporary design, celebrates the iconic bus route, which recently terminated after almost 100 years ferrying Dubliners from the city to Dun Laoghaire and back again.
The 46A is now immortalized in a classic print that preserves those memories forever. Designed and printed in Ireland, the special Slán Abhaile 46A Bus A2 print fits in a standard frame and is available now directly from the studio.
One for the wall!
