Award winning designer Katie O’Riordan has relaunched her online brand Theo + George, with a focus on combining quality, sustainability and comfort, producing a premium yet accessible collection designed for the modern woman.
Sustainability is a key driver for the business and the brand. And, with nearly a quarter of a million tonnes of clothing going to landfills a year in Ireland alone, she felt it was important to create a brand that raised awareness about these issues.
The goal of a capsule wardrobe, is to achieve a minimal closet that contains just enough options for any occasion but without “excess” items, Katie believes.
“Our philosophy is that balance is key. We think of a capsule wardrobe as a mentality shift in how how we shop for and choose our garments. Buy less, choose well, and make it last. The more emphasis you put into choosing garments that will last and stay in style the more value you get out of the investment.” Read more here
