West Cork Meets Dublin – Gloria Osteria X Restaurant Chestnut

Posted 2 hours ago in Food & Drink Features

Mid September sees Gloria’s Squadra teaming up with the Michelin-starred Restaurant Chestnut from Ballydehob for a one-night-only dinner that brings a sensational taste of flavoursome West Cork to the capital.

Chef Davide will be joined in the kitchen by the acclaimed Chestnut team for a four-course feast combining the restaurant’s signature home-aged charcuterie with Gloria’s Italian-inspired cooking.

Things kick off with warm Gnocco Fritto and brioche alongside Chestnut’s famed fish charcuterie and homemade coppa, before Tortellini Emiliani arrives with Parmigiano Reggiano DOP fondue and balsamic reduction.

The main event pairs brown Butter and Seaweed-Poached Turbot with Chicken Jus and Sicilian Caponata, with proceedings rounded off nicely with their signature Toffeemisu.

If you know, you know.

The dinner takes place from 7pm on September 20th. Seats are limited and tickets which cost €85, or €125 with wine pairing, go on sale on Monday August 31st.

Worth clearing the diary for.
