Fresh from seeing their globally acclaimed We Call This Power menu ranked fourth in the world this year, BAR 1661 has slipped on its festive finery with a menu of limited-edition Christmas cocktails offering Dubliners a chance to sip something really extraordinary this December.
The multi-award-winning bar has devised five delicious winter warmers that consciously succeed in blending high craft with pure seasonal joy.
They’ve combined a fascinating medley of fine Irish spirits to create such flavoursome beauties as Patricios & Pear, a poitín-kissed Margarita with a spiced winter twist, and a two-years-aged Whiskey and Wood Old Fashioned for those who like their Christmas cocktails spirited.
Meanwhile, Mistletoe and Mead offers lovers of something sweet a creamy taste of the season with a blend of Mad March Hare Poitín, Silkie Irish whiskey, sherry, mead, sweet potato and sesame cream served in a clay vessel.
