An open Jazz Jam is currently bringing a weekly injection of seriously good vibes to Arthur’s on Thomas Street, with musicians and listeners invited to get involved and get the week off to a jazzy start.
Each Monday opens with a set from a different band of invited professional players from the contemporary Irish jazz scene, before the floor opens for an impromptu jam session featuring some of Dublin’s leading and emerging talent.
Hosted by musician-led event organiser Cookin’ Dublin, the night is strictly jazz, with a full backline provided – just bring your instrument, or if playing isn’t your thing, simply lend them your ears.
Either way, it’s a groovy way to have a bit of craic and while away a dreary Monday evening.
