Whiskey lovers assemble! Irish Distillers and the legendary Mitchell & Son have just unveiled Yellow Spot 18-Year-Old Single Cask, a seriously special pure drop, finished in a first-fill Málaga wine cask and limited to just 600 bottles.
Triple-distilled in 2006, this 18-year expression has served its time in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks before picking up all the rich, sun-soaked sweetness that comes from being finished in Spain. The result? A decadent, full-bodied single pot still whiskey with depth to remember.
Expect dark berries, honey, raisins, and warm woodland spice on the nose, with a taste that raids the whole winter pantry. Silky tannins, dark chocolate, coffee, dried figs, zesty orange, cinnamon, and ginger culminate in a luxurious finish, best described as a little bit magical.

One for connoisseurs, collectors, and anyone looking for bragging rights to something extremely scarce and delicious.
Available exclusively at Mitchell & Son stores and online, it comes bottled at 56.8%, and priced a euro shy of 500 quid.
