Word has it that The Ivy Asia is set to mix things up when it opens on Dawson Street this November, bringing with it an experience featuring ‘Asian-inspired flavours, creative cocktails and show-stopping interiors’.
As we went to press further details were yet to be revealed, but a quick scan of the advance publicity indicates that Dubliners can look forward to ‘a uniquely immersive setting’ similar to that currently enjoyed by diners in UK cities as diverse as Brighton, Guildford, and Cardiff.

Quite how the newcomer’s self-styled ‘glamorous restaurant and bar’ chain experience eventually translates to Dublin’s city centre remains to be seen, but for those seeking a sneak peek of what might be in store, a ramble through the website of the mothership may help provide some clues.
It is of course the sister of The Ivy on Dawson Street, which was visited by our restaurant critic shortly after it first opened seven years ago. You can read that review here.
