Anantara The Marker will celebrate National Poetry Day on the 1st May with live readings as guests enjoy a delicious afternoon tea there. Poet Kathy Hutchinson reads her new poems, specially composed for the hotel’s Poetry & Places Afternoon Tea from 1pm onwards.

The hotel tells us that guests can look forward to being steeped in a sensory experience, with poetry all around — in the air and on the plate — with a special keepsake print of Kathy Hutchinson’s poem to bring home as a memento of the day.

The Poetry & Places Afternoon Tea on National Poetry Day runs from 1pm to 4 pm and is available for €65 or for €85 with a glass of Bollinger.

Bookings via The Marker Bar & Lounge Reservations or on (01) 687 5100.
