A small green space tucked just off Foley Street in Dublin 1 takes on a tasty new lease of life today with the launch of an exciting new pilot initiative in the heart of the city’s historic Monto district.
Entitled Lunch at Liberty Park, the cool new midweek food market takes place every Wednesday from September 9th – 30th, and showcases the wares of some exciting Irish and international food vendors.
They’ll be serving up gorgeous culinary fare including Asian dumplings, skewers and noodle dishes from China House, a selection of African dishes from Joy, and delicious Wood-Fired Pizza from Bob’s.
Also in the mix is a nice selection of Portuguese treats from Baqkanos, and handmade cakes from Tanya’s Kitchen Bakery.
With some cracking tunes from Brian McMahon of Brand New Retro fame, outdoor seating and plenty of space, it’s the ideal spot to beat the mid-week hump, grab lunch, meet friends and escape the lecture hall or the office for an hour or so.
