A small green space tucked just off Foley Street in Dublin 1 takes on a tasty new lease of life this month with the launch of a new pilot initiative in the heart of the city’s historic Monto district.
Entitled Lunch at Liberty Park, the cool new midweek food market takes place every Wednesday from September 9th – 30th, and showcases the wares of some exciting Irish and international food vendors.
They’ll be serving up gorgeous culinary fare including Asian dumplings, skewers and noodle dishes from China House, a selection of African dishes from Joy, and delicious Wood-Fired Pizza from Bob’s.

Also in the mix is a nice selection of Portuguese treats from Baqkanos, and handmade cakes from Tanya’s Kitchen Bakery.
With a DJ, outdoor seating and plenty of space, it’s the ideal spot to beat the mid-week hump, grab lunch, meet friends and escape the lecture hall or the office for an hour or so.
See you there!
