“All you want is a good bottle of wine at a good price that you know you will enjoy. It is that simple.”
So opines actress and comedian Amy Huberman, who’s putting her money where her mouth is with an investment in Ah, Wines – a new venture that’s been pleasing the city’s vino lovers since its launch in Café en Seine earlier this year.
The initiative sees her collaborate with Shane Davey, Hugh Murray and Brian Fagan in a partnership with winemaker Covinas, a cooperative of knowledgeable local farmers who have been tending vineyards using sustainable practices in the heart of Spain’s Comunidad Valenciana for generations.
The brand currently offers two corkers; Ah Sauvignon Blanc (RRP €17.95) featuring light hints of tropical fruits, apricots, and peaches with a long smooth finish, and Ah Cava Brut Rosé (RRP €24.95) a lovely summer tipple with subtle notes of red berries.
And the verdict amongst the Insta cognoscenti? “Yummy!”
