Hot on the heels of last year’s success, South Dublin gastropub Brickyard has just announced the return of its vibrant three-day Cinco de Mayo celebration.
The Mexican-themed weekend of food, drink, and festive flair takes place from Saturday, May 3rd to Sunday, May 5th, celebrating Mexican heritage and cuisine by bringing that country’s spirit to life with colourful dishes, cocktails, and community fun.
The kitchen at Brickyard will be serving up flavour-packed Mexican favs throughout the weekend, including Huevos Rancheros and Baja Fish Tacos, washed down with their specialty Moonshine Margarita. A smooth and delicious Irish twist on the classic, it comes made with Mad March Hare Poitín, fresh lime juice, triple sec, and agave syrup.
The accommodating hostelry will also be pouring a premium selection of tequilas and mezcals, including Clase Azul Reposado and Don Julio El Cielo. Co-owner Simon Moore says, “We’ve always had a deep appreciation for Mexican cuisine and culture. The food is full of flavour and energy, and we’re thrilled to bring that same spirit to our customers this Cinco de Mayo.”
Festivities are scheduled to run all weekend, with all-day brunch, lovely Mexican street food specials, and tequila-fuelled toasts.
Cheers to that!
Cinco de Mayo at Brickyard runs all day from Saturday May 3rd to Monday 5th.
