1900 Bar & Restaurant launch new menu and event series

1900 Bar & Restaurant, located in the heart of Dublin on Harcourt Street, have launched a new menu which includes classic favourites and new internationally inspired dishes, all crafted from the best locally sourced Irish ingredients.

The venue is also delighted to launch a new series of bookable events, the first of which will take place on Thursday, July 27th. Enjoy a ‘Night of Swing’ with live music from crooner Tom Cole Junior and his band, while you enjoy a 5-course meal for €69.99 per person. Soak in the swing, with a glass of bubbles on arrival from 7pm, and then dinner is served. Enjoy dishes including Chicken Ballotine (€26) and Tiger Prawn and Crab Linguine (€24.95).

Famous for its steaks, the 1900 Bar & Restaurant takes pride in the Irish grass-fed cuts, dry aged for 28 days from FX Buckley. Choose from the 10oz Sirloin (€35), 8oz Fillet (€38.50) and the 31oz Tomahawk for two (€80). All steaks are served with sautéed mushroom & spinach, onion strings and chunky fries.

Celebrate a special occasion with dinner in the 1900. The starter offerings include Wild Mushroom Arancini (€12), Dublin Bay Prawn Tortellini (€15), Irish Crab Salad (€14) and Kilmore Quay Seared Scallops (€16). For main course choose from the French-inspired Chicken Ballotine (€26) or a Tiger Prawn and Clam Linguine (€24.95). Vegetarians can enjoy the Short Grain Risotto (€21), which can also be made suitable for vegans.

Enjoy a crisp and delicious summer lunch from the 1900’s salad offering, which includes a Super Food Quinoa Salad (€12.95), Classic Caesar Salad (€11.95), and Lyonnaise Salad (€12.95) which can be topped with chicken, or prawns. Sandwiches include the classic Club Sandwich (€10.95) and the indulgent Steak Sandwich (€15.95). The lunch menu mains have something for all tastes including the Pan Seared Chicken Supreme (€15.95), Penne Arrabiata (€13.95) and the 12-Hour Braised Beef (€16.95).

Cocktails include classic recipes such as the Vodka Martini, Negroni, French Martini and a classic Margarita, the perfect start or end to the meal. (all €13)

1900 Bar & Restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday, serving lunch from 12-3pm and A la Carte Dinner from 5pm. With its inviting atmosphere, exceptional food, and expertly crafted cocktails, this is one dining destination you won’t want to miss.
