Shot in a mixture of black-and-white and saturated colour, Director Grant Gee presents multiple timelines to illustrate Evans’ life.
Anders Danielsen Lie plays Evans in a career-defining performance, with Bill Pullman and Laurie Metcalf as his parents.
Released theatrically in the UK & Ireland on 11 September 2026, the film premiered at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year, where Grant Gee won the Silver Bear for Best Director.
It’s a classic Art House movie and is highly recommended.
