National Cinema Weekend lands on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September, with almost every cinema in the Republic getting involved and tickets from just €4. Yep, €4.
After the success of previous National Cinema Days, which pulled in more than 200,000 admissions in a single day, the big-screen celebration has now levelled up to a full weekend.
Expect new releases, Irish films, previews, cult favourites, and plenty of reasons to turn your phone off and disappear into the dark for a couple of hours.
Cinema-goers across will also be able to benefit from additional screenings catering to diverse audiences, including sensory screenings, along with additional subtitled and captioned screenings at various cinemas.

The Lobster, Terminator 2, Star Trek IV, Cars and The Hunger Games are all getting another big-screen outing.
