Enthusiastic Eunuch programmes another zinger as Tennessee composer, saxophonist, and flutist Zoh Amba visits us for the first time with Chris Corsano (Drums) and Nick Dunston (bass). Her music blends Jazz, noise, and devotional hymns, a sound which has earmarked her out as one of the hottest young talents in the American avant garde scene. Her debut record O, Sun was produced by the legendary John Zorn and she has collaborated with a variety of high profile musicians such as Jim White (Dirty Three), legendary bassist William Parker and Brian Chase (Yeah Yeah Yeahs). Corsano is an acclaimed free jazz drummer who has worked with Bjork amongst others and his presence makes this show a must see.
