If you think whiskey is a man’s drink, well that’s just old fashioned! Welcome to the new wave of female distillers, bonders and blenders putting a spotlight on worldwide whiskey brands from right here in Ireland.
Women in Whiskey is a frank and fun panel discussion with Irish women, who are leading Ireland’s whiskey industry into a brand new era.
Louise McGuane, founder of J.J. Corry irish Whiskey in Co.Clare, Katherine Condon, micro distiller and brand ambassador at Midleton Whiskey and Lora Hemy, head distiller of Roe & Co Whiskey will be joined by Café en Seine’s Ivanna Maresic.
The evening will kick off with a welcome whiskey cocktail curated by Ivanna, followed by a relaxed and interactive discussion about the careers of our panelists and the reason why whiskey is their spirit of choice.
Guests will then be invited to sample a whiskey brought by each panelist, alongside food paired by head chef Stephen Gibson. To top it off, we will invite you to enjoy a second delicious, bespoke cocktail created by Ivanna – the perfect end to a fun filled evening.
