Woman in Stem and Feral / Pen are set to host a club event in Curveball at The Button Factory on Friday, November 21st. Entitled ‘End of Year Review’, Creative Lead Kat Ennis tells us that the event is ‘a response to the insidious brandification of DJ culture and all culture’.
She says, “This night is for the girlies and trapped creatives who live in fear of the next email finding them; rest assured it won’t find you here. Expect electronic pop, alt-pop and plenty of cheeky energy sprinkled in”.
For this event they have invited Sleepless Beauty; the club culture disruptor who colours outside the lines — from festivals to mainstage sets and underground clubbing; this skilled decks provocateur takes crowds on a peak-time joyride laced with playful twists and turns.
There will be no Zoom link for this meeting, so in person attendance is compulsory. Be there!
