Why Design are seeking to address the gender imbalance in the Irish creative sector. To mark International Women’s Day, they have invited Pentagram design partner Natasha Jen and Thierry Brunfaut of Base Design for insights into their practice followed by a discussion on the existing imbalance. “I think of my role as playing with words, symbols and images,” explains Jen. “It’s about making things tangible and understandable, and if we can make things delightful – that’s the goal.”
