TradFest, Ireland’s largest traditional & folk music festival, will be running from January 21st to the 26th this year, spanning across a multitude of venues all across Dublin. Ex Mary Walloper Seamas Hyland will be performing at the Grand Social. Enamored with the button accordion and the relationship between traditional and contemporary music, Hyland produces unique experimental songs that are expected to totally take over the venue.
Using collected field recordings, Hyland is known for creating tonal landscapes and has garnered tons of praise for his recently released solo album, Maidin Domhaigh.
