Following the powerhouse performance for the opening gala of the 70th Cork International Choral Festival in April this year, The Guinness Choir and East Cork Choral Society, together with Fabre as the semi-chorus and the East Cork Orchestra, are to recreate their stirring performance of Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius.
Under the baton of Colin Nicholls and with soloists Christopher Bowen (tenor), Sarah Luttrell (mezzo soprano), and Eoghan Desmond (bass baritone), the audience will journey from soul-wrenching deathbed moments to celestial redemption.
The event takes place on Saturday October 5th, Doors 6.30pm, Concert 7pm.
