Purveyors of post-punk and Brightonites to boot, Squid may sound like a band who has been around forever, but they are mere early hurdlers with their debut album Bright Green Field in their arsenal since 2021. Their two-night stint illustrates growing clout and their blend of sci-fi paranoia on a rinse cycle with our contemporary lot seems like the perfect reason to let rip. (New Yorker review here.)
