Songs in the Key of D

Following Song in the Key of D’s biggest performance yet at London’s St Patrick’s Festival 2017, the 50 person choir are delighted to announce ‘Raised on Songs & Stories’, a night of Dublin song and story at Liberty Hall Theatre, Dublin 1 on Wednesday, 14th June at 8pm. Led by musical directors and multi-instrumentalists KC Fusion, expect to hear the choir perform songs by acts like The Dubliners, The Fureys, Noel Purcell, Sinéad O’Connor, Bell X1, Aslan, Mic Christopher, The Coronas, Glen Hansard and many more.
The choir are delighted to be joined on the night by spoken word poet, Stephen James Smith. Stephen wrote the acclaimed poem, Dublin You Are, and was commissioned by St Patrick’s Festival to produce a poem in honour of our national holiday. The theme of the 2017 parade was inspired by his words.
