As ‘world premiere’ expectations go, anticipation will be set at 10 for Mám, the latest show by Michael Keegan Dolan who brought the sublime Swan Lake/Loch na hEala into our lives in 2016. He’s bringing the virtuoso, Irish traditional concertina player Cormac Begley, who wowed us with his Sunday morning performance at Another Love Story last month, together with the European classical, contemporary collective, s t a r g a z e and twelve international dancers from the Teaċ Daṁsa company. Little is known about the production except that it “acknowledges how life’s polarities can on occasion come together and find resolution.” It forms part of this year’s Dublin Theatre Festival which runs until October 13
