Returning to Ireland for his first solo exhibition on the isle in 15 years, multimedia artist Gary Farrelly is presenting Quasi-Autonomous Stitch at the Pallas Projects from 10th to 25th October.
The work is named for a sewing procedure that layers and soaks up images and surfaces, and Farrelly presents a “ledger of obsession” – from Dublin office blocks becoming hypothetical re-tellings to Bosnia-bound posts extending into decades.
On the last day of the exhibition, Farrelly will discuss how he constructs the world of his art.
