As homegrown comics go, only the likes of Tommy Tiernan would have once eclipsed him. O’Briain is affable with a jovial personal and jubbly presence. He’s also boasts an enviable range of hosting talent from Robot Wars to travel shows to penning Sunday Times articles about his love of Star Wars. His pool of experience and seemingly endless fascinations adds an informed edge to his observations. Oh and he’s sold out all these dates too it seems.
