This month sees the return of all-ages music festival BASED in a spooky Halloween Edition, as it takes over the Button Factory with an incredible lineup of up-and-coming artists and bands.
Created to address the lack of inclusive and accessible events for a younger generation of artists and music fans, BASED is an all-ages and alcohol-free music festival, on mission to give young artists a platform to showcase their talent and have fun. This festival is the first of its kind in Ireland and has helped foster an emerging scene of creativity and expression.
The Halloween edition includes a costume contest and other spooky surprises, with a diverse lineup showcasing incredible emerging indie rock acts from around Ireland.
Presented by Fluttertone, champions of independent music in Ireland, BASED has teamed up with Safe Gigs Ireland, a non-profit organization who will provide the event with dedicated volunteers to help ensure safety and a positive presence. BASED is committed to creating an inclusive and respectful atmosphere. This includes medics on-site, extra security, and approachable Safe Gigs staff.
The dynamic line-up includes energetic performances and hard hitting riffs from Holy Show, Selenite, The Wires, Secure, Karibu Sana, Solace, Juliette Dunne Band, Paradise Conspiracy and others.
