Acoustic Oceans is an exhibition of new paintings on canvas, aluminium and paper by Mark Francis that beautifully captures the sensory experience of the modern age; the speed of movement of information and the way our eyes are stimulated by the complexities of personal data storage.
The works are bold stripes of vertical rich hues and patterned colour that suggest energy and modernity while the concept of sound entwines its way into the art as abstract noise transforms into patterns of light, akin to the display of a studio mixing desk.
