Get ready to grow, taste, and learn as Bord Bia Bloom 2025 returns to Phoenix Park, Dublin, this bank holiday weekend. In addition to interactive workshops, floral art, and kids’ activities, visitors can look forward to exploring more than twenty stunning show gardens, with over a hundred talks and demos scheduled to take place over the June bank holiday weekend.
And that’s not all. As the Phoenix Park becomes a hive of activity this weekend, festival goers can also check out Bloom’s hugely popular Postcard Gardens, sponsored by Tirlán CountryLife, which are built in one day by community groups and schools from across Ireland.
This year’s festival also promises an unforgettable experience at The Food Village, featuring some of Ireland’s top food and craft drink producers, with a stellar line-up that includes culinary luminaries such as Donal Skehan, Darina Allen, and Aishling Moore. A new addition this year is Bloom’s Seafood Kitchen, a must for fans of all things fish, with chef Trisha Lewis is hosting three demos there each day.
The Food Hall within Bloom’s bustling Food Village features more than 100 of Ireland’s artisan producers, where goodies include everything from chocolates to cheese and oysters to teas. The Bloom Inn is another highlight to look forward to, where some of the country’s best craft brewers and distillers will be offering plenty of opportunities to take a break, enjoy a tipple, and soak up all the buzz of the festival.
There’s also ‘A Taste of Bloom, curated by Neven’ which features a three-course menu designed by the MacNean House chef-proprietor showcasing some of the best ingredients from quality Irish producers. Tickets to the experience, priced €79 per person, include entry to the festival and a tasty 3-course lunch. They can be found on Ticketmaster.
Other delicious dining options include The Seafood Terrace and the Country Crest Restaurant, while over sixty food trucks will be serving up a wide variety of cuisines in the Picnic Area, at the Food Village, and at the festival’s dedicated grill zone, BBQ Bliss, sponsored by Ninja Woodfire.
A festival of gardening, food, and sustainability… definitely one to bring the folks to.
