This spring, there’s a host of great performances to look forward to as Dublin Dance Festival gets set to host Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo.
The world’s foremost gender-skewing comic ballet company comes to our shores as part of their 50th anniversary tour, paralleling precise dance and hilarious performance.
Other highlights include Moonlight Dream from Northern Ireland’s Maiden Voyage Dance. Aimed at a family audience, including children aged three to six this wonderful production at The Ark follows a child, a bear, and a fox as they witness the night sky. Combining soothing bedtime rituals and dance, this sensory and warm dance experience is definitely one to watch out for this year.
Pioneering contemporary dance in Ireland, the annual festival brings together homegrown and international artists, and this year runs from April 230th to May 16th.
