New Year’s Festival Dublin: Four Highlights

The city comes alive after the festive break as the capital sees out the decade that was, while ushering in the Twenties in spectacular style at the New Year’s Festival Dublin.

With four terrific events to look forward to, first up is the Liffey Lights Midnight Moment Matinee which takes place at the Custom House on New Year’s Eve.  Entertainment starts at 6pm. The event is free, but tickets must be booked in advance from Ticketmaster.ie

Next up is the Liffey Lights Midnight Moment featuring a dazzling solar spectacle of light. Watch in awe as a thrilling choreography of lasers and aqua beams illuminates the Dublin sky against the backdrop of the iconic Custom House. The event starts at 11.30pm with excitement building to a crescendo as the clock strikes 12.

The New Year’s Eve Countdown Concert

Celebrate with Walking On Cars, Ash, Aimee, Lisa McHugh and more, as Walking On Cars will ring in 2020 with special guests Ash, Aimee and Lisa McHugh. Tickets €36.90 (18s+)  Bag yourself a couple of tickets in our great NYE competition.

New Year’s Day Concert in Temple Bar

Groove into 2020 with Kila, Wyvern Lingo, Brian Deady, Luz and enjoy an afternoon of live music from 3pm to 8pm at the New Year’s Day Concert. Featuring a host of Ireland’s finest musicians, the concert takes place on 1st January 2020 in Temple Bar in the heart of the city.
